In-App Messages
Throughout 2025, we partnered with WhatsApp to design and produce a comprehensive suite of 40 in-app messaging videos. Working closely across multiple departments, the challenge was to create thumb-stopping animations that translate complex in-app features into clear, intuitive experiences, establishing a cohesive and modular video system capable of communicating with billions of users worldwide.
By blending live-action footage with graphic illustration, the project bridges WhatsApp’s established UI design with fresh visual metaphors. Every asset was crafted to celebrate the interface while maintaining a light, relatable, and human tone, turning functional product explainers into engaging, story-driven moments that build user trust and meaningful connection.
From raw concept explorations on paper to modular storyboards and final delivery, the creative process relied on continuous dialogue and iterative experimentation. Developed with the support of Novenero Studio, the resulting toolkit shapes design into scalable motion metaphors tailored to inform, guide, and elevate the everyday messaging experience
